Notes: Written around 1513, but not published until 1532, five years after the writer's death, this book is a political and historical classic I've been meaning to read for years. Stumbled upon in it a bookstore. The price was right. I snagged it up.
Mini review: A short read, and definitely worth your time if you're interested in politics, especially politics during the Renaissance. Offers a different way of looking at politics, one that is not so common in today's world (or maybe too common, depending on your outlook). If you're writing about characters who are rulers, this book can help you get into their mindframe.
