Ingrid Michaelson - The Way I Am

Ingrid is a young, new artist, and since I like to promote new writers, why not musicians too? This is a nice song and a cute video. Enjoy.

  1. I like this song, too! My daughter got me to listen to this song for the first time not too long ago. Made us both smile. Ingrid's voice is very nice & this video is very fitting. Thanks for sharing!

  6. who are they?

    ;)

I'm talking 'bout good music, like Van Halen, Twisted Sister, Dokken, Def Leppard, Bon Jovi. To give you some props, you did find a couple VH & DL songs, so you ain't all messed up.

  7. Don't worry. I'll eventually be putting up a lot more of that type music over at RadioDarkbow. For now, I'm trying to get through what I think are some lesser-known artists.
Though I did put up some Iron Butterfly tonight, which ROCKS in the same tradition as Cream or even Zeppelin.

  9. If it weren't for the likes of Iron Butterfly, Sabbath, Zeppelin, Cream, The Who and the Stones, you wouldn't even have Twisted Sister, Bon Jovi, Van Halen, etc.
    It all rolls down hill.
Of course, today we don't have hardly any good music. Or maybe I'm just getting old.

  10. Yeah, thank God all the latter learned from the former how NOT to be horrible.

It's cyclic, though, as each round rebels against the round before it, so what was bad music became good, and is now again bad . . . which means we should be headed for some good stuff soon.
