Preludes: Four fantasy short stories

You might have noticed a widget addition to the top left of this blog.

I've finally stepped into the modern age. Preludes, a collection of four of my fantasy-related short stories, is now for sale exclusively on the Amazon Kindle for only 99 cents. That's right, 99 cents.

Got a friend with an iPhone to download the free Kindle application. Paid him a buck to download your Preludes mister! It better be good :)

Noticed something while I was doing this...there's a book called City of Rogues for the Kindle, too...

Ack! I wish I'd known! I probably would've told you to skip the Preludes download. All but one of those stories are available on my blog, and you might have read them.

Double Ack! Yes, I sold out. Self published the first novel on the Kindle. I had my reasons, and I might blog about it eventually. I'm not doing any promotion on City of Rogues, mainly because I'm wanting to see how it does without promotion. So far, better than I expected, but not skyrocketing.

I've paid him the $1, but he hasn't downloaded anything yet. Besides tossing you a wee little support, this is a way for me to test the Kindle system - so why shouldn't I get the Preludes? It's of more interest to me than the horror tales collection, and I've read CoA :)

I just figured you wouldn't be interested in Preludes for two reasons: 1.) You've probably read a good bit of the stuff there, if not all of it. 2.) None of it's S&S type stories, nor even epic fantasy. But hey, I get 30 cents out of your dollar, so thanks!

As for publishing on the Kindle, if you ever consider it for RBE, let me know and I can pass on what little experience I have so far. My own impressions, etc. Eventually I might blog about this stuff more, but lately I've been busy with other projects (and yep, still trying to find a job).
